SOOOO CLOSE

I weighed in at 224 on Saturday...I was so excited that this was going to be my new all time low weigh in and I when the wii fit showed me my stats .....utter disappointment. I sort of discussed my feelings with several pieces of cake. OH YEAH, I made Kal a cake that turned out great. He has been working overtime and I we didn't get much of a weekend and I just didn't want him to feel sad or lonely. He liked it...2 days later there is only one piece left. It was a very dense, rich dark chocolate cake with chocolate ganache topping. I took a picture:



Kal was down 1 pound this week! He has completed his first week with no chocolate milk and says he's been feeling and sleeping better. Both of us have been sleeping better now that we got a memory foam mattress topper on his bed. This equation pretty much sums it up:


I have been sticking to the 8 Minutes in the Morning Exercise program and am feeling pretty good. I just lost my way this weekend but started this morning off right. We'll keep you posted if anything exciting happens.

  1. Wow your relationship with food is really messed up. Who would sabotage themselves and Kal too by making a chocolate cake and cheescake earlier and brownies? Why would you do that to yourself? It's like you want to fail. You need an understanding support group you can connect with to help you. You don't have to do this alone. You could have gone for a walk or run or anything not food related.

  2. You got it. Guilty as charged but nothign I don't already know. I think the blog has fulfilled its purpose (or adverse effect actually) which is why Kal will be taking over the blog from now on.

    You need a hug to get back on course. You know everything about weight loss but emotional eating is tricky stuff. Now you need the 'aha' moment to get back on track for 'you'. By your pictures you have come a long way so that alone is an inspiration to others. You must be proud of that! Don't quit the blog because I've lost 12 pounds since reading it and others like the one above too. lol

  4. www.bulkbarn.ca has their $3 coupon offer again. It's printable online as well as published in their flyer! A good deal if you need their stuff but really easy to get carried away in that place too. like a $5 bag of candy that is really just a handful!! lol
    Hey I don't know if Kal doing the blog is such a good idea... Reconsider???
